Renee is a student at a university in North Carolina. She is majoring in Psychology, mostly because she finds it incredibly interesting and not at all because she knows how to make a career out of it. She is endlessly curious and loves to travel, take pictures, be with friends and above all, write. She’d love to make a career out of journalism, hopefully writing for some type of worldwide publication - anything that can reach, help, inform, teach or inspire others. She wants to help other people to understand themselves, to get them to that moment of dawning comprehension when their feelings are set to the perfect words.
But for now, she’ll settle for being a 21-year-old with big dreams, an adorable son, a wonderfully supportive family and beautiful friends. She is one of those determined people – the kind who achieve whatever goals they set, no matter how high, no matter how big. She loves getting mail, drinking coffee, summertime and early mornings (when she wakes up in time to enjoy them). She likes being busy and will never be afraid of hard work. And one day, she wants to be somebody’s hero.
This is the paragraph where she will someday list all of her amazing journalistic achievements i.e. magazines she’s been published in, articles she’s written, books she has coming out, etc. She’s been lucky enough to add NBC’s iVilliage to these credentials, thanks to an amazing summer internship and some wonderful opportunities to spread the word about adoption! But this is just the beginning. It’s going to be a very long, extensive, exciting paragraph. Stay tuned :)
